The Carl Zeiss Extaro 300 microscope shows the inside of a tooth at 8–21× magnification. This makes it possible to locate extra canals, cracks, calcifications, and other structures that simply remain invisible in traditional, unmagnified treatment — and these invisible details are most often exactly what causes a prior root canal to fail.

The process

Endodontic consultation

RVG imaging or CBCT scan analysis, examination of the tooth and surrounding tissue under the microscope, temporary filling placed.

Treatment

Performed under local anesthesia, typically 1.5–2.5 hours depending on the number of canals and case complexity.

For more difficult cases

A surcharge for complexity (a severely curved canal, an unusually long root, difficult access, an obliterated canal) is agreed transparently before treatment begins, not after.

Follow-up

An interventional visit is available if pain or swelling occurs during treatment.

Why a specialist, not a general dentist

A general dentist can safely perform straightforward root canal treatment. But complex cases — curved canals, retreatment, a broken instrument stuck in a canal — need both the equipment (microscope, digital diagnostics) and experience genuinely focused on endodontics alone.
